Different Worlds

Oh my! We were driving on Hwy 470 in Florida and suddenly there was this "parallel" world in the clouds. I had to rush to get this picture. Doesn't this look like an angry old man facing a little person on a skateboard or so?

The Storm is Arriving

When leaving Mt. Dora, Florida, the sky was blue with lovely white clouds and the sun was shining. Then while driving West on Hwy EC-470 these huge thunderheads arrived creating an eery mood behind the Suwannee-American Cement Factory.

The Woodlea House

Mt Dora Lighthouse

A lovely spot to just sit there and watch the boats go by. Lake Dora is huge. You gotta have a boat to really find all the picturesque niches and parks.

Lake Dora, Florida

View from Wooton Park in Tavares which is close to Mt Dora. This is a great area for people with boats, as the lake is huge with lots of places to stop and visit or go have lunch.

Fiery Sunset

It's hard to imagine how Nature can create these amazingly fiery and beautiful colors into the sky. Slowly it's getting really dark and people are heading home. Pine Island is a great place for observing the most fantastic sunsets.

Clouds so Close

It feels like I can touch those clouds. They are right above my head with some strange forms and images inside of them. It must have been a very energetic thunderstorm to create those kinds of clouds.

Dramatic Sky

Once in a while there is an evening sky like none other. This was one of those evenings on Pine Island in Florida. People were relaxing in their beach chairs, taking a walk on the beach or a stroll in the water. I liked the seagrass hanging over those people like an umbrella.
