Desert View Watch Tower   Waited here since five o'clock in the morning for the sun to rise behind the famous Grand Canyon Watch Tower. We saw some huge elks grazing along the walkway. One really large male with three females. They were not shy at all, which is no wonder as they all were big and strong. Then suddenly the sun sent her first rays into the canyon, and a large bird flew by enjoying the updraft. What an exciting moment. Down below flows the magic Colorado River.
