Mt Dora Lighthouse

A lovely spot to just sit there and watch the boats go by. Lake Dora is huge. You gotta have a boat to really find all the picturesque niches and parks.

Lake Dora, Florida

View from Wooton Park in Tavares which is close to Mt Dora. This is a great area for people with boats, as the lake is huge with lots of places to stop and visit or go have lunch.

Tree Of Life

This big Florida tree with the Spanish Moss hanging down reminded me of the "Avatar" movie depicting the fantastic Tree of Life of the Pandora World. This tree is in Mt Dora, Florida.

Fiery Sunset

It's hard to imagine how Nature can create these amazingly fiery and beautiful colors into the sky. Slowly it's getting really dark and people are heading home. Pine Island is a great place for observing the most fantastic sunsets.

Enjoying the Sunset

Clouds so Close

It feels like I can touch those clouds. They are right above my head with some strange forms and images inside of them. It must have been a very energetic thunderstorm to create those kinds of clouds.

Dramatic Sky

Once in a while there is an evening sky like none other. This was one of those evenings on Pine Island in Florida. People were relaxing in their beach chairs, taking a walk on the beach or a stroll in the water. I liked the seagrass hanging over those people like an umbrella.

Palm Trees in Water

There is a whole forest of these palms. I did not know that they liked water. Usually I've seen them in desert regions in the Western States. This is just beautiful. Found them on Hwy 597 Shoal Line Blvd in Hernando County, Florida.

Florida Living

One can see that Nature is having fun here. It's beautiful and green. Everything grows and thrives. There is no lack of anything. People are swimming and playing in the water of the Weeki Wachee River. There are manatees and otters and lots of birds too.
